It has been a bizarre year for everyone. Reaching out to friends and family has never been more important. Spread some joy and positivity with your gift giving this year as quality time most likely cannot happen.
Below are some Christmas prezzie ideas that are trying to be more sustainable and ethical. A lot of them are linked from our stockist’s websites and I promise no amazon link in sights.
Reminder : The most sustainable and ethical gifts we can buy are ones that the person wants / will use and love so don’t be afraid to ask directly for gift ideas / gift lists.
For the foodie…
This year many independent businesses are on the brink of closing. If you have a favourite buisnesses are on the brink of closing. If you have a favourite restaurant now is the time to support them. Gift your food loving friend a takeaway, gift card or even our favourite male at home takeaway kits, this is a favourite of ours.
Top tip : When ordering takeout, order directly from the buisness. As third party apps generally take a cut.
Labels / stickers for homemade jams, home-brews and preserves. Hopefully this turns out to be a points present and you get some sloe gin gifted back to you with a label on.
– We all have that one family member / friend who is SO hard to buy for as they have everything they could want. We recommend gifting them something they would normally use / buy themselves. For example, if they are into photography buy them the film they use. If they have a favourite beverage purchase them the gin they regularly buy. This way the gift is useful and actually something they like.
– Gift an experience ! The best kind of present because often you go along too…take them on holiday, book theatre trips, go for a spa afternoon etc.
