Dive into better choices 🌊

It’s World Ocean Day, and we need to talk about plastic

This is Rhiannon, a 25 year old conservationist.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Marine Geography and her passion is shark conservation. This has taken her on research projects around the world.

Rhiannon has seen first hand the effects of climate change. She says…

“The ocean is super important to the functioning of the planet but we are damaging it many different ways. One of the biggest impacts we are having on the ocean is through our plastic waste.

There are many ways we can reduce our plastic waste. This is thanks to brands such as Iron & Velvet who create plastic free cleaning products. This means you don’t need to throw any plastic away. They also use natural ingredients which are much kinder to the planet and the oceans.

Sooo this Oceans Day why don’t you switch to plastic free”

It’s not every day that your brand gets the seal of approval from someone who works on the front lines of ocean conservation, but that’s exactly what’s happened with our plastic-free cleaning products. We’re proud to share that someone who sees firsthand the impact of plastic pollution on marine life has chosen our products for their home. If anyone knows the importance of reducing plastic waste it’s professionals like Rhiannon.
